Translator Position: Chuukese Language for E-Commerce/Consumer Electronics Localization
About the Role
Huri Translations is recruiting two Chuukese language translators for a major localization project in the e-Commerce and Consumer Electronics domains. This is an immediate start position with a possible duration of several months.
Key Qualifications
- Excellent written and spoken Chuukese language skills
- Near-perfect command of English
- Demonstrated experience in professional translation
- Knowledge of another Micronesian language is highly desirable
- Available to work full-time for the project duration
- Reliable and permanent internet access
- Up-to-date computer systems
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in technical terminology related to consumer electronics
- Experience with e-Commerce content localization
- Strong linguistic background in Chuukese
Important Note
We are specifically seeking qualified linguists with professional translation experience. Native Chuukese speakers without formal linguistic training or translation experience should refrain from applying.
