We have translated texts but just need audio recording. Do you provide smartphone recording or studio recording services?

Yes. See our voice recording services. We provide smartphone recording services as well as studio-quality audio recording services thanks to our partnership with studios in the islands. However, because our Pacific languages are primarily oral languages we prefer to handle the translations ourselves prior to launch the recordings. This way we ensure the language flows, that it has the appropriate rhythm, tone, metric, and is ready to be recorded for speech purposes.

For legal documents or judicial documents, beside the NDA that we sign as a preliminary step, we ensure the individual or company involved is not a relative or acquaintance known by us before taking on the task. If that happens to be the case, we will have to decline your project.

At Huri translations, we specialize in Polynesian languages and handle all digital aspects of these languages, including Unicode characters. While our languages share similar morphological features, there are variations in how they are written. This is related to how the successive waves of linguists transcribed what have primarily been oral languages. Some use pure Latin scripts, some use an extended Latin script, etc.
