1. Introduction

At Huri Translations, we embrace a fully remote work model to provide our linguists with flexibility, work-life balance, and the opportunity to excel in their roles from any location. This 100% Remote Work Policy outlines the guidelines and expectations for linguists working remotely.

2. Eligibility

All contracted linguists are eligible for 100% remote work, subject to the nature of their roles and the needs of the company. Contracted linguists must demonstrate self-motivation, accountability, and the ability to work independently to be considered for remote work arrangements.

3. Remote Work Guidelines

3.1 Availability
Linguists are expected to be accessible and promptly respond to work-related communications.

3.2 Workspace
Remote linguists are responsible for creating a productive and safe workspace in their chosen location. They must ensure that the designated workspace is free from distractions and meets ergonomic standards to promote their well-being and productivity.

3.3 Confidentiality and Data Security
Linguists working remotely should take necessary measures to protect sensitive information, including using secure networks and following company policies regarding data handling and storage.

3.4 Communication and Collaboration
Remote linguists should actively engage in regular communication with their team members and supervisors through designated channels. They are expected to utilize appropriate collaboration tools to ensure seamless teamwork and maintain effective communication.

3.5 Performance and Accountability
Remote linguists are accountable for meeting their job responsibilities and achieving their performance objectives. Regular performance evaluations and assessments will be conducted as per the company's policies, regardless of the work location.

3.6 Technology
Huri Translations will provide necessary technology to enable remote work. Linguists are responsible for the proper use, care, and security of company-provided technology. Technology provided does not include Internet access. Linguists are required to ensure they have sufficient Internet connectivity to use the technology provided. Any technical issues or malfunctions should be promptly reported to the supervisor.

4. Compliance with Policies

While working remotely, linguists must comply with all company policies, including but not limited to those related to data protection, information security, code of conduct, and health and safety.

5. Policy Violations

Failure to comply with this 100% Remote Work Policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of contract, in accordance with the company's disciplinary procedures.

6. Review and Modification

This 100% Remote Work Policy will be reviewed periodically and may be modified or updated at the discretion of the company. Any changes will be communicated to all linguists in a timely manner.

By working remotely, linguists acknowledge their understanding and agreement to abide by the terms and guidelines outlined in this policy.
